Shawn came to massage out of a need to do meaningful work and help others. Although he finds human anatomy fascinating and was on the Dean’s List throughout school, what he has enjoyed most is learning through experience what actually works to relieve each person’s pain.
His training is in Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy and myofascial release and his greatest satisfaction comes from helping restore alignment and function to a person’s body, as well as helping stressed people simply relax. He ensures that his clients go home with whatever information they need to take care of their bodies.
Shawn has a curious and creative mind and enjoys writing fiction, acquiring languages and developing self-awareness. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a former Buddhist monk.

- Pressure: Medium, though I can accommodate clients needing both Light and Heavy pressure.
